Make a Reservation
All vehicle reservations are made through Faster MotorPool, Fleet Services’ online reservation system. The system provides real-time availability and automated confirmation emails so you can manage your reservation from start to finish in one place.
Before reserving a vehicle, review Fleet Services policies and ensure your department account and driver information are up to date.
What to Expect
When you reserve through Faster MotorPool, you can:
- View available vehicles by date and rental class
- Add approved drivers and passengers
- Select a single department and account for billing
- See estimated rental charges before confirming
- Modify, cancel, or duplicate reservations as needed
- Access your reservation history at any time
Vehicle availability is based on scheduling and operational needs. Specific vehicles are not guaranteed.
Billing Information
Fleet Services requires:
- One department per reservation
- One account number per reservation
- A 100 percent billing allocation to that account
Reservations with multiple departments or split percentages will not be approved.
After You Reserve
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email with your reservation number, pickup and return details, and status. You can view, modify, cancel, or duplicate your reservation at any time in Faster MotorPool.

Students
Students may drive Fleet Services vehicles as part of a department reservation, but students cannot make reservations themselves. All reservations must be made by the department using departmental funding and approved account numbers.
Per University Policy 8013: Establishing and Maintaining a Registered Student Organization, Registered Student Organizations are not authorized for off-campus travel and are not eligible to rent vehicles through Fleet Services.
